I talked with Lizzy's nurse this morning and she said she is still breathing fast. 100 plus breaths a minute compared to where it should be at 40 to 50 breaths. We will get the test results back this afternoon from her cultures which will let us know if it confirms infection. Please continue to pray for us as it is discouraging that she is not getting better yet.
Yesterday the doctor ordered a sonogram of her heart because the 2nd X-ray he took was worse then the first. This concerned him because if it is just fluid in the lungs she should only be getting better. He had a 3rd X-ray taken 8-12 hours later and it had improved and looked much like the first. So he wanted to have a Cardiologist check her heart to make sure we were not missing anything. When we went last night to visit the Cardiologist said it was looking at a perfect heart of a normal baby. Praise God! So we are back to thinking that there is a good possibility it is an infection after all. Either way we have been treating it for almost 3 days now and only have another week of antibiotics if infection ends up being the cause. We will post later today when we find out more.

Being through 2 cardio patients already I began praying 'big time' when I heard of her rapid breathing. We are so thankful to hear the good news and continue praying for healing.
Whenever I check my email, My boys ask me about Lizzy. You are in our prayer. Love you all
