Sprout Funnies

I recently listened to a great message on parenting by Brian Chesemore entitled "Biblical Principles of Parenting". Brian is the pastor of marriage and family at Covenant Life church. His first point of the message was that we need to have a conviction that our children are gifts from God. So, to put my conviction into practice, I have started making it a point to tell the sprouts before bed that they are mommy's gifts from God. Tonight, as I leaned over and whispered in my 2 year old son's ear, "Noah, you are my gift from God and that makes you so special to me", his response back was, "I want Daddy."
