Trash Eater

This morning I noticed that Noah was eating something that I had not given him. That is never a good sign. So I asked him what it was and where he got it from. He said it was a granola bar that he had gotten from the trash can. Yuck! He then proceeded to spit it out in my hand. Yuck again!
One of Noah's new things he enjoys doing is bopping the trash can lid until it pops open. He must have discovered the remnants left from breakfast on top of the trash and decided to help himself. Does anyone know if they make locks for trash cans? And has anyone else had a child eat from the trash can because I need some encouragement to know I'm not the only one.:[

My Nator has eaten trash, chicken and mouse poop, dirt, rocks...you name it he's consumed it and survived! At least the thing your boy was eating was edible!

My sister ate dog food growing up. Repeatedly. I don't know why she wanted to taste that more than once. I love hearing all the stories about the kiddos! And the videos! You're a great blogger!

Our Joeler-bear hasn't eaten much out of the actual trash can, but plenty that should have already been there...such as day or week old food under the table on the floor...YUCK! Or cheerios in his car seat, or goldfish on the floor of the van...YUCK again! Have no fear, you are definitely NOT alone!
