Happy Thanksgiving

Our Thanksgiving day started out with making sweet potato pie.
Sydney and Noah both love helping me cook in the kitchen, especially when it comes to sweets.

Sydney is giving Noah instructions not to touch the pie filling until it's cooked. He responded with sticking his finger in it and saying " Mm yummy!"

We had the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade on TV this morning. Noah was watching it while I was cleaning the kitchen and Sydney was coloring at the table. I noticed that he was raising his hands in the air followed by legs being kicked. He then proceeded to run around in circles. I looked to see what was going on in the parade and it was a dance team doing choreographed moves. Noah was trying to copy what he was seeing them do on TV. I wish these 2 pictures did the moment justice because it was hilarious to watch.

Hands being raised.

We had a wonderful dinner with the other PC families who stayed here for Thanksgiving. Our day ended with decorating our Christmas tree and watching the Cowboys smash the Seahawks.
We asked Sydney what were her favorite things about today as we tucked her into bed. Her response was "Um probably the football and the turkey meat!"
Joshua and I are blessed parents to be in this season with our precious children. God has been very good to us to give us what we don't deserve. So goes the gospel...
